A Glimpse Behind the Canvas
From Southwest Florida to Your Story
I took an interest in art from a young age and specifically was drawn to drawing and painting. Being raised in Naples, Florida, I was surrounded by the coast and the kind of everyday, natural beauty that quietly shapes how you see the world. That perspective carried me into a career in wildlife research and ornithology, where I spent years studying and traveling, always drawn to the details others might overlook.
My passion for painting was renewed during the stillness of COVID. It was during this time something clicked. What started as a way to pass time quickly became a passion, and from that passion grew Conors Canvas.
Today, my work is a reflection of both journeys. Whether it’s a coastal scene or a moment from someone’s wedding day, I approach each piece with the same intention: to capture something real, something meaningful, and turn it into something that lasts.
My goal is simple: to help you hold onto the feeling of a moment. Whether it's the quiet emotion of a private commission or the dynamic energy of a wedding, I create heirlooms that serve as emotional bridges back to your most cherished memories.
How I Turn Moments into Heirlooms
Listening to Your Story
Every project begins with a conversation. I take the time to understand the nuances of your vision, the people involved, and the specific energy you want to capture.
The Process
My focus remains on movement and emotion rather than just rigid accuracy. I aim to paint how the moment felt—the warmth of the sun or the joy in the air.
Meant to Last
The finished piece becomes more than a painting, it becomes something lasting. An heirloom created to be revisited, shared, and held onto, preserving your moment in a way that endures far beyond the day itself.
